To me, that Lincoln is a solid 5, but I might change my mind if I saw a slab photo.
The quality of toning and surface preservation says 4, but the coolness factor of the double crescent brings it to a 5 for me.
The OP won't see this because he has me blocked, but there is an old thread about cracking slabs. Have you ever cracked a coin out of a slab
What if you have a photograph of the coin in the slab with the label?

The coin looks very lackluster for an MS64 and the fact that a coin with that level of toning but no star designation concerns me even more about...

Last I checked, E-Bay requires full slab photos of both the obverse & reverse, so sellers using just TruViews are in violation of E-Bay policy....

Agreed, but it is worded so poorly that a collector can glean that it means what @Rick B thinks it means, then it becomes terrible advice IMO....

Actually, I think Bresset’s advice is terrible for a beginner, and my guess is that he would advise against people with limited knowledge spending...
