      Wow That's great, Im new to metal detecting and picked it up about year ago or so to try to find some coins and what ever else I can find, I love the idea of digging coins that where dropped over 100 years ago and it keeps me active. I never expected find somthing this old but I would really like to know how and where it came from. a lost secret but I think just to find it's orgin would be great as well. You just never know what is laying in ur back yard. It's a blast

      I grew up in Catskill Ny the town. One spring day 196?
      I was digging up a rose bed @ my grandmothers I had
      dig 4 - 5 before and found a English token. I now live in Alabama still do some metal detecting but have not yet found anything as old.as the token.

    New to cointalk This pastJanuary, I had alawysed look at the change in my pocket but never really looked until i got a 1910 wheat in my change, after that i was hooked, i was amazed that a coin 100 years old was still circulating from that point on I fell in love. This has been a great pass time for me and enjoy roll serching.
