Man, now there are 54 of them, where do they keep coming from, now we need 3 more 21-30, come on I know there are more of us than them, keep voting
inspiring- I love to see the younguns with this interests. That is really inspiring (ages 11-19). Perhaps these kids received some nice and valuable coin gifts in the past.
We are tied at least, but I still would like to see us (21-30) take our rightful place in the lead again!!!
I am really surprised and pleased to see the younger crowd in this hobby. I would have never guessed that. I just wonder if they are doing the old "Kennedy" family trick and voting more than once. I really figured my age group 50+ would dominate.
I'm 30 and truly expected that to be among the smaller groups. Cheers to my fellow 20 & 30-somethings! =)
I would hope that people would only vote once, since this is an honor system and I believe that they have. Thanks fellow 21-30 year olds we have taken the lead again
Turned 18 in November joined the Army two weeks after i turned 17....Mature for my age? so i've been told -Russ
So far the pop distribution is rather unusual. Two distinct populations forming a symmetry around 40 years. Would suggest that the 'average' forum member is either in their 20s or in their 50s.
I think it's great to see these age groups in the majority. I would have never guesses that. I wish these people could have had the experiance like I did of going to the bank getting rolls of dimes and quarters and pulling out the silver or pulling the wheats out of pennies. Pocket change was much more interesting back then.
I'm amusing myself at the recollection of being the "old coin expert" in my neighborhood as a 10 year old when one of the kids swore to me she had found a 1968-S cent. I harrumphed at the suggestion and proudly pronounced that it was impossible because they stopped putting mint marks on coins in 1965 and I hadn't heard of any change. Therefore it was IMPOSSIBLE! Why is it that this 42 year old memory is clear while I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning? Such is life.
Remember when you could get Coinage or Coins at the news stand. For that matter, remember when there were news stands?
