1983 ddr

    I have another candidate for an '83 DDR. Could not find this among the usual suspects. Many, many more split serifs than I've highlighted. Very dramatic doubling on the FS. Looks like a little on the Obverse as well. Thanks: Lou 17.jpg

    To much light glare im not seeing it either,looked on VV for both DDO's and DDR's couldn't find any matches.http://varietyvista.com/

    I see slight doubling, but it's probably not the good type.
    Is there a known DDR for this year?

    Strike doubling. Most coins have it. At that level of magnification, you're a cinch to find it. It doesn't always show as flat and shelf-like. That's just the sliding type, it's not the jumping type. The dies and/or the planchet aren't secured and the coin isn't struck-out perfectly for it.
