There are many differences between a simple ghosting type clash and a jailed Lincoln.

Something like this I could see getting bid up to around a $100. Your everyday clashes like the one in the OP. Will never reach the price you quoted. IF so please show one to back your quoted price.

THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE GHOSTING, BUT A DIERECT CLASH, NOT A "JAILED"LINCOLN AS IT IS NOT THE MEMORIAL BUILDING CLASHING IT HAS WHEAT EARS, I DO NOT KEEP TRACK, I KNOW ONES HAVE SOLD FOR IT, I WOULD EVEN OPAY THAT FOR IT, IF SAW IN HAND, AND NOT REPROCESSED FOR MY COLLECTION, THER EIS NO"PRICE GUIDE" FOR ERRORS THAT IS ANY WHERE'S ACCURATE, THE ONES ONLINE SAY A CLIPPED SILVER ROOS DIME IS 4,.00 I DEFY YOU TO FIND ONE LESS THAN8-10.00 for one, and if uns, they want 22.00, anyways, not on here to argue, i give my ho, and leave, if you disagree, that is fine, that is what a conversation is, everyone gives his 2 cents, then you weigh out the goodies and go with it, ciao man

JOHN YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN HARD EVIDENCE TO WHAT IS VALUABLE AND WHAT IS NOT. THIS THREAD IS ABOUT A CLASHED CENT THAT IS MOSTLY GHOST LIKE AND PLATED, DON'T TWIST MY WORDS TO BENNEFIT YOU. THIS THREAD IS ALSO NOT ABOUT ANY CLIPPED CENTS.

IF YOU WANT TO PAY A HUNDRED OR A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN FIND IN CIRCULATION WITH LITTLE DILLIGENCE THEN THAT IS OK, IT IS FINE WITH ME.
BUT TO TELL A MEMBER THAT THEIR BARELY VISIBLE CLASH IS WORTH THAT. THAT IS WHERE THE LINE IS DRAWN, AND YOU WILL GET TOLD THE TRUTH, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.

    HOW'S THAT FOR YELLING!

It is obvious that you know how to use your cap's lock only when it is beneficial to you.

Not sure why everyone says it has been reprocessed. It doesn't appear reprocessed to me. Hard to reprocess and replate without plating the edge as well and the edge of that coin has not been replated.
