Struck by a 90% capped die, probably by a mid-to-late stage cap, given the size of the mirror reverse brockage. Nice condition too. I usually see lots of Brazil errors from the 1970s and 1980s, but much less so with older coins.
I think it should be an early die state as the reverse design has not been obliterated yet. On a late die state the obverse start to show through.
