Gosh...and all this time I thought it might have something to do with a break for some musical interlude...whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, etc...maybe the name of a barbershop quartet (the Quarternotes)....

I forgot to post these yesterday. i released 10 QuarterNotes counter stamped quarters, back into the wild to be found, and poured over, by better minds than mine.

Almost a month to the day. Kill Devil, North Carolina, nice to see you again. Don't worry QuarterMaster, I only kept for photo purposes. Back into circulation, already . I wonder which one will show up next? This was actually more exciting than anything recent, lol. Thank you for a new, kick butt challenge, QuarterNotes.

Even more exciting, i don't think this is mine! There's a big chip on the reverse by "unum" on this one, that wasn't on mine. Also there's stuff above "first in flight" that wasn't on mine. Unless this thing got that beat up in a month.

The rotation on the words seems right, but the guys head looks closer or further, I'm either pic. Or am i having that periodontics again?

This has been an enjoyable read this morning.

 

I received another counter stamped quarter yesterday evening from the QuarterMaster.
I will post it Sunday evening.

 

The Zoid posted a thread on Tuesday, with some new ones.
It was the first I had heard of the Quarter guy.
I have seen this thread pop up the past few years but thought it was some business on the internet to buy coins or notes.
