1988 D with an O under the D

    I found this the other week and not sure if it is error or what ,I zoomed in in black and white and in regular color .The d is over the what Appear's to be an 0 or possible Q but to me it looks more like an O .My question would be can anyone tell me anything about it ?

    Well spike0 it's probably zinc rot/corrosion.

    Yea, I would say zinc rot..it is amazing how zinc rot can look like numbers or letters...I learned that the hard way. ha!

    Thanks for the reply's its special to me i guess since its the first zine rot i thought could be an error lol
