Thank you so much for that! That would have driven me nuts. Search over. I'll buy one this week, lol.

There are 3 W's altogether. An Uncirculated, a Proof and a Reverse Proof. I thought I had all 3, but looks like I somehow missed the uncirculated one. I'll buy one if I decide I have to have it I guess. (all 3 were premiums with mint sets).

Just to drive you a little more crazy.....the 2020 sets included a W mint mark nickel as a premium. Again about 350,000 of each (reverse proof and proof) were sold, the uncirculated nickel was supposed to be added, but cancelled because of covid.

Yup, and Yup. Let's not forget the 1996 W dime. All driving me just a little more crazy, every day, lol

@Beardigger, you know me, I'm more of a junk guy. The coins that people like yourself and @Randy Abercrombie have sent me are the nicest in my collection, and I'm not kidding. I have 2 slabbed coins, a walker half and a Morgan, 2 coins every collector should have nicely graded examples of, the rest are all junk, mine, not the stuff that's been so generously given to me, those are treasures, lol. I don't mean i don't love them all (mine), i do, but they're for trade, or sale. My rambling point is, I'm not really interested in a slabbed MS69 ultra reverse camaro. My favorite coins are the ones you guys gave me, circulation coins, and those gorgeous proofs.

You MONSTER! lol. They look awesome. I can buy them for anywhere between 15 and 25 bucks each, and i already have permission from the boss ;). But she also says, if anyone can find those three coins in circulation, it's me :banghead:. So, I'll buy them, as insurance, like the Lowell you so graciously swapped with me, which i found 2 weeks later, and hope the same happen with these. Can't hurt to have a few of each.

@Beardigger, i could have won a 1996 W dime, just now. Zero bids, starting bid, 14.95+3.00 shipping. That shipping always gets me. So i didn't pull the trigger, but for 20 bucks after taxes, i could have had one by Monday.

I don't have the dime. It came out well before I got interested in collecting. Won't be buying one for myself. Never did care for dimes.

I do have permission to purchase. And I'm not really looking for the reverses. Maybe someday that'll interest me, but right now, I'm just looking for regular old strike, circulated (even better) W stuff. Your offer, as always, is too kind.

I thought the mint only made w quarters for circulation....

But wow, those reverse proofs are always impressive! I need to get one

U are one luck man. Haven't found silver since the 58 dime in my ash tray last August.

Yes the W quarters were only distributed in circulation. You could not get them from the mint. The W Pennies and Nickels were bonus coins when you bought the Mint Sets for 2019 and 2020. None were circulated. The Mint sets themselves had the S mint mark.

@Bluntflame, thanks for stopping by. Yes, i am lucky, BUT, a lot of work does go into it. I'm lucky that my job doesn't care about the hunt, as long as the work is getting done. Biggest regret is not doing just a little numismatic research, before jumping into the job. I miss a ton of stuff, daily. Hope you've enjoyed. I post my finds daily, and if there are no finds, I'll just come on and ramble, lol. (But as you can see, except for the weekends, and even then, I'll try to find some stuff at the coinstar machine, i find stuff daily.)
