Gold Colored Islamic Coin?

    Any ideas of what this is? The reverse is blank which seems unusual. I'm not expecting it to be gold or anything but I would just like an identification. The sides of the hole is the same color as the coin. Thanks in advance for any help. The diameter is about a millimeter smaller than a dime, and the width is thinner.

    Yes, a loose imitation of an 18th-century Ottoman gold coin for decorative purposes. If you rotate the image 180°, the inscription translates: "sultan of the two continents/ and emperor of the two seas/ the sultan, son of/ the sultan". The two continents are Europe and Asia; the two seas are the Black and the Mediterranean. Compare the right image below (properly written).

    Thank you, that was very helpful. It probably doesn’t have any numismatic value as it’s a copy but I’ll put it in a 2x2 with what you said. :)
