Any ideas of what this is? The reverse is blank which seems unusual. I'm not expecting it to be gold or anything but I would just like an identification. The sides of the hole is the same color as the coin. Thanks in advance for any help. The diameter is about a millimeter smaller than a dime, and the width is thinner.
Yes, a loose imitation of an 18th-century Ottoman gold coin for decorative purposes. If you rotate the image 180°, the inscription translates: "sultan of the two continents/ and emperor of the two seas/ the sultan, son of/ the sultan".
