As much as I'd love one of these ARAMCO disks, anyone else see red flags with this bay listing?

Seller since 2014, lots of feedback, only 3 negatives and 2 neutrals(about shipping). Your call, still 5 hours left before it's done. Lots of bids.. Could go way higher than its current $1822

There have been some 'superfakes' of these turning up recently in correct alloy, but with discernible die diagnostics in hand. Any listing with a sideways, improperly lit image of such a high-ticket item as the primary image should be treated with great suspicion.

This looks like something that can be faked
very easily as already suggested so would
    be very suspect.

I agree 100%. For an item that can easily fetch 2k, why not take some good, high quality photos? If it is real, you’re only hurting yourself.

I must have a different way to look into feedback.

They have 217 feedback ratings, but 0 in the past 12 months. They measure performance based on the last 12 months. So if they had no sales in 12 months, it will say “no feedback” in place of where a percentage would be to indicate their rating. I personally would avoid this auction, but that’s JMO.

The number, 217, in parentheses is the total feedback he has. He went off selling for 12 months by the look of it.

Any explanation of the seller showing in Taft Texas.
Then the next page when you check feedback says seller is from the UK.
    Red flags are up.
I suppose you could get your money back after a struggle.
I was just a watcher...sold for $2200 with some new low feedback bidders at the end pushing the price up.

Could have moved from the UK to TX, which would explain why they've not been selling for a while. I moved from Aussie to Tx myself. Point is moot though, unless we know the person who bought the coin we won't know if it is genuine.

That makes sense, with that logic I might have been a little more tempted.
If the buyer sent it off to a grading service and it comes back as not authentic they would have grounds for a return.
At $2200, might have been worth the effort.
Once graded its value bumps up 1.5 times.
