Well, I got this one last month as I have been trying to keep a run of this 1/4 oz set going - I don't like the artwork personally (it looks better the smaller it is!) with a really ugly rendition of Britannia, not to mention the comical lion. I couldn't bear putting up yet another picture of Lizzy, so left that out:
I like the design, but then anything different from the coins I look at everyday is a nice change. I like the details in the figures and with the frost, it brings them out nicely. The designs I typically don't care for are the ones that the designer didn't take advantage of, like the Wyoming quarter.
Yes indeed. Funny that you mentioned the Wyoming quarter as I have always hated that one and all similar designs.
