    Are you kidding me??? THAT is one of my favorites. I really LIKE that Elephant! Perfection is so overrated! Great coin, I would take it ANYday!

    So your issue with my posts is that I used the "D" word?... well for that I sincerely apologize - I did not even realize I used that word. The fact is your coin never "crossed the rubicon" seems to be of no interest to you or your "story". Pointing out misconstrued "facts" is not a personal attack.
    But I will leave it at that... and hopefully this thread dies a quick death and we can get back to collecting and sharing our coins. But whatever......

    The fact that my coin didn't cross the Rubicon with Caesar is a factual error I was unaware of when writing. I attempted to change the original post, but it seems that editing isn't allowed after a period of time.

    However, this coin most likely was present at battle(s) that determined Caesar's victory, and so the core of the story - that this coin was (likely) present at a crucial point in history, along with my efforts to obtain it, remain true.
