I took your advice and paid a visit to my local coin dealer. I've known him personally for years, very trustworthy, honest and always fair. He even has offered to offer his opinion on any coin I want to send to PCGS so that I don't risk a "no grade" which is what they do now with cleaned or altered coins. Great guy! He had a few MS65 Morgans in his back room he brought out. I picked up two of them and another MS64 from the case I fell for.

I decided to collect only MS64 or better now, taking it slow (naturally) because it can get pricey.

Here are my new additions (which I've already added to my Morgan Set
    on PCGS):

Now that is more like it. Three OGH Morgans, I love em even if they are not toned. Congrats my friend.:thumb:

Those are some really nice Morgans you have there. I'm not into slabbing beauties such as those. Looks like older holders. I'd have set them free if they were mine.

    Good job!

I heard older holders is better, that they were a lot more critical back then. Something about slabbing appeals to me, not to sure what it is, especially since you can register them online and work to complete a set which everybody can view. I am even uploading pictures.

I sent in 10 coins today to PCGS, none of which are at any risk of being bagged, 9 Morgans of MS63+ grade and my $5 Gold Indian Dad gave me when I was 12.

    Now to wait the month!

Keep em slabbed. Worth more, and I personally regretted every single coin except one or two I cracked out. Just my humble thoughts. I think your going to build a great set.

Nice Morgans. Without seeing the reverses, I think the 64 looks better than the two 65s. :thumb:

Very nice Morgans! Congrats PersianGuy. I've been wondering about that OGH abbreviation myself.
