    Hey Coin Talk Folks,

I bid on and won a total of six (6) 1966 Colombia One Centavos Error coins on eBay yesterday! These are an assortment with different RPD (Re-Punched Date) errors. The Seller's pictures were pretty blurry but I could make out a little bit of the what he described in the Auction listing with some of the digits in the Secondary (and possibly some Third) punching being upside down and apparently others misplaced. The Colombian One Centavos pieces are notorious for having some of the most amazing RPD's with double as well as triple punching that are sometimes...significantly misplaced! I was a little leery about bidding on the coins due to the pics. However, the Seller answered my questions before I bid on the coins, has a respectably high Feedback and gave me a guarantee via email that I would not be disappointed or he would refund my money. I will try to get some decent pics of the coins when they come in and post them here. Until then, you can check out one of these nice RPD Error coins that I posted in a Thread started last year by Clembo at the following link:

Eight more 1966 Colombia One Centavo coins with RPD's on the way!

Well, I picked up eight (8) of the Varieties last night along with 10 more 1966 One Centavo coins with really strong Die Breaks and Die Cracks. I can't wait to get them all in and see what crazy Re-Punched Date digits show up! Considering that most of these have the Secondary digits upside down, the Mint workers must have been smoking some of Colombia's other products when they minted this run of coins.:rolling::D I wonder if the DEA has ever confiscated any rolls of Colombia One Centavo coins due to them having some certain seeds in them???!!!!

I've seen some of the Colombian 1c RPDs and they're pretty amazing. It seems that 1966 is a particularly good year--I wonder how many dies were involved (or all of them?) Look forward to seeing your new pics!

Here are the Seller's pics of my latest acquisition!

Here are the Seller's pics that I copied from the Auctions for the latest RPD specimens and the Die Crack & Die Break specimens. I would have posted them last night but it was late and since I worked the day shift, I can't even look at eBay stuff from work. I will try to get pics of my previous purchase of the assorted Colombia One Centavo RPD coins when they arrive. There are apparently several different Varieties that are different from the one in the picture. The Seller's pictures for these are too poor to really see anything with definition.

Well, I received my first purchase of the six (6) 1966 Colombia One Centavo coins with the RePunched Dates and received a bonus coin with strong Die Breaks and Die Cracks. As expected, there are several different versions (Varieties) of RPD's in the bunch. The one in the pics, is the best one with an upside down "1" over a rightside up (correctly oriented) "1", the "9" is punched twice with the Secondary digit slightly East of the Primary digit, the first "6" appears that it may be punched over top of an upside down "6" (or possibly over a "9") and the second "6" was punched three times with a Secondary "6" punched Northwest of the Primary and another one punched Northeast of the Primary.

I am sorry that the pictures of the RPD coin are not very good! I am having difficulty getting a decent lighting source. I will try to get some pics later of the One Centavo with the Die Breaks and Die Cracks.

I am little confused since I have only had one C.T. member post to this Thread! I am wondering if it is me or my' coins that you folks don't like?

Those are great RPD's, I'm always on the lookout for varieties in Colombian coins, they really did let out some good ones.
