1954 Jefferson Nickel error?

    Looks more like a corrosion issue.
    Damaged.

    Also.. The correct Numismatic terminology is Doubled Die not double die.

    Xperfectx Forgive me, I am new here and curious.

    When I compare jefferson's face to other's of the same year and mint his face looks oddly different, as if he appears more happy. For corosion it sure is odd.
