Oh, mint grading is not my strong point.

    1944-D Mercury Dime, MS-64
1940-D Mercury Dime, MS-66 (I want to say 65) - I assume the scratches are on the slab.

    ... or vice versa

the 40 D merc has tons of marks on the holder and so do many other ones

BTW does anyone know a good way to clean the holder?

Morgan - MS64 maybe PL or DMPL and the indian 64 RB - not sure if those are shadows on front and back or what, but it looks like more than 5-10% brown mixed in. I would not be surprised if it was red, could just be the pictures and lighting.

I've used this stuff called PlastX from Meguiars to clean scatches on plastic and plexiglass it works great. Never tried it on a slab before.

There is a section in Numismatic Photography that talks about how to polish slabs. :)
