here is my whole collection of good coins all graded by ngc/pcgs. I would like some opionens of the grades before i post them and of the values. http://picasaweb.google.com/djlljd/Coins In the order as shown the first is a 1880 S Morgan pcgs 1943 S walker pcgs 1862 3 cent silver pcgs 1838 D buff ngc 1944 D merc ngc 1906 indian OLD OLD pcgs 1926 S oregan trail commen NGC 1884 3 cent nickel NGC 1940 D merc pcgs and my favorite 1826 Bust Half pcgs Thank you
Oh, mint grading is not my strong point. 1944-D Mercury Dime, MS-64 1940-D Mercury Dime, MS-66 (I want to say 65) - I assume the scratches are on the slab. ... or vice versa
the 40 D merc has tons of marks on the holder and so do many other ones BTW does anyone know a good way to clean the holder?
Morgan - MS64 maybe PL or DMPL and the indian 64 RB - not sure if those are shadows on front and back or what, but it looks like more than 5-10% brown mixed in. I would not be surprised if it was red, could just be the pictures and lighting.
I've used this stuff called PlastX from Meguiars to clean scatches on plastic and plexiglass it works great. Never tried it on a slab before.
sorry for resurrecting this old thread of mine but i was wondering if anyone could please give me more opinions about the grades of my coins. Thanks
