1969 S LMC with strange strikes

    The date, chin, nose and forehead all have similar characteristics. It looks like they took a hit but it also seems impossible because of the curves they all have. comments or help please.

    Definitely MD, I like to call it "mechanical doubling".
    Here is a 69S that I photo'd years ago. This is a proof.
