Is tin at fault for improper alloy mixes (woodies) in cents? The reason I ask is because they seem to vanish when tin is taken away in the early 1960s. BUT if woodies exist from 1944 - 1946, I guess tin wouldn't be at fault. Is it known why woodies stopped shortly after or after the Wheat reverse?
