Picked this up cheap from overseas about 8 months ago. It had a lacquer problem (as many Chinese coins do). I gave it a acetone bath and crossed my fingers that all was good. When I purchased it I could see the "of Ch" from the reverse on the bottom of the obverse . Well I decided to give it to NGC to grade and it had no problems.

I don't know about that. As a former U.S. Customs agent, believe me the Chinese government will fake anything intentionally. And I am talking the government, not just a private citizen, but citizens do it as well.

My wife works for New Era cap, and they fake tens of thousands of their hats. They fake car parts including airbags, and anything that sells for decent prices. I can't imagine they don't do this with coins. Would they do it with error coins? Who knows. They have faked other country's currency, including Taiwan, to purposely ruin their monetary policy.

I believe the error here is legit. I just don't put it past those totalitarian lying communists to have done it intentionally.

I wasn't trying to be negative. I just have first-hand experience at what the Chinese government does and is capable of doing. However, I know the General Tso's chicken I get is purely authentic from Far East restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY.

Probably since General Tso's Chicken was an American creation. (Though possibly by a Taiwanese chef.)
