1958 D Error Coin

    I found this one today and was hoping someone could tell me what's going on with this coin please. I've never seen a rim like this one and it's in pretty good shape. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

    As far as I can tell from your photos, I think that your coin was crimped into a lucky coin holder but has since been removed.

    I keep saying it.. Not everything that looks strange or different is a mint error.

    That's a damaged cent. I agree with Cent that was previously encased. Altered rim.

    Damn your good! To my untrained eyes it did look like it may have slight doubling on the date.
