Is this an example of a wanted serial number?

I have looked at the sight but need to double check please. Did the middle 5 and 6 ruin this from being a dollar someone would keep? Other than that this is something that is looked for correct. Am I on the right track? Thank you. If I am I will have a follow up question on another bill. ✌️ 15800201304803643914774335825742.jpg 15800200827366491915956242916211.jpg

Totally a spender. I don't see any currency collector value in that serial #.

It's a interesting serial number but not a fancy serial number.

Considered a bookend to some collectors..

    524 56 524

Neat but the condition is bad. With circulation wear.

    Spender :(

I see these all the time on eBay. Touted with words like Rare, Scarce, Special, Fancy and whatever else attracts new, unsuspecting collectors. If you like it, keep it. I wouldn’t have any regrets spending the OP’s note.

It's a bookend note. As a person that collects paper it's a spender.

This note would have been a bit more collectable if the center 2 digits were 55 or 66. Even there is or may be no real collector value, it's always fun to add to a collection and even though these following notes are not or may not have any real collector value, I consider them valuable as I found them and will continue to collect them. https://secretsofandstoriesonuscurrency.blogspot.com/2015/06/valuable-serial-numbers.html and it's fun and it's a great way to save $$$ rather than leaving them in the bank. (enjoy this part of my collection)

Well, Yes and No : Yes because this is almost a fancy number, so you're on the right track and headed in the right direction, but No because this is not a fancy number and your wheels slipped off and you had a flat tire.

Look at Paddyman's answer above. He explains it very well, puts the name to it, and gives you the value advice : Spend It !

Remember, like the other members say, Keep it if it makes you happy. That's what collecting is all about.

I know it's a spender again it's just for reference right now. BTW I am always off by at least 1. I played pick 4 the other day and my numbers were 0306 the draw was 3096... I mean really. Lol

I cant catch a break hope some day to meet you God willing. I will bring you a special needle just for popping them bubbles giggle. You missed me huh. I'm always good for a lesson from you when I post giggle. My eyesight is so bad anymore I cant look things up as well cause 1 I'm still having the issue with info retention and 2. Reading is pretty impossible because after 30 minutes i can't even focus with a magnifying glass. But on the silver lining end of my life I haven't found any money to work on my bucket list yet but because I dont trust my eyesight I wont spend any coins yet either so I am saving money giggle, had to move my change to something with wheels and ordered my microscope yesterday from couchcollectibles. Oh and I'm still here. Defying the odds for my cancer life span not able to do treatments anymore. My nurses are floored every week cause my positive attitude.

As Paddy puts it, those are interesting but they're not fancies.
Yes, on the first bill, they do have to be in order, or otherwise, virtually every bill would be a fancy in some way, wouldn't it?
On the second, the 00 at each end is different and interesting, but not a true fancy. The 4 numbers in the middle spoil it.

Remember, the Key is What Do You Enjoy. Keep searching , I'm sure you'll find the real thing soon enough.

I'm sorry RLG. I still don't see the same thing in those serial #'s as you do. That's the beauty of this hobby. You can collect anything you want. For instance, I've seen people collect a myriad of barbed wire samples. Not my thing. I've seen others collect women's powder compacts. Again, not my thing.

I won't judge, but if you ask a Q about it, I'm hoping you're looking for an honest answer.

Of course My actual question was when I find 2345678...did they have to be in order. I know this one has an out of place number that ruins it automatically and the other almost book end was just another example of how I skim the surface but never quite make it out of the water lol. I know none are real keepers they are just references for me. ✌️
