I was also able to purchase this coin, a 1819/8 Bust Half Dollar. The overdate is there just hard to get on my cell camera. The price was right, below market value, do I did it.

It's a O-102 with the Large 9. The color is a nice medium grey. It's NGC Certified so take a chance on guessing the grade it received.

I would call it a Fine...but, I suspect that NGC bumped it to VF-20.

I’d say it’s a solid VG10 or maybe an F12 with some luck. It shouldn’t have graded much higher.

Beautiful coin with honest wear. I would be comfortable with this one at F15. Very nice!

VF'ish with a bit of a rub 'a dub......nothing to be ashamed at as most of these old coins have had a cleaning or two.

    Lovely piece.

No bloody way.....liberty holds true on the bonnet. VG? Blast no, as 'Liberty' would have been worn away......

In the PCGS photograde pics Liberty can be clearly read until we’re down to G6. I think the obverse prevents a higher grade than F12, but I may be wrong.
