I just checked, and there are still a couple active auctions from the links provided. The seller has no feedback ratings to speak of. That should help to prevent sales by itself.
I agree and do the same. I don't touch or ever look at any Chinese coins for that same reason even though I like the Pandas. Won't touch them or look at them. And I don't touch or look at the Huawei phones even though they're a great value for the money. They could be free and I wouldn't use one (they're Chinese phones). I just wish we could boycott everything made in China. There are lots of other countries with super cheap labor where things can be manufactured, countries whose governments don't try to undermine everything we do. We should be supporting them with our purchasing power and not China. But (a) there isn't enough awareness in the USA and (b) people aren't willing to sacrifice low prices for their principals. But I am. And I'll continue to be a one person crusade until the rest of the country wakes up and realizes that we're giving an enemy the power to overtake and destroy us with every dollar we spend on "Made in China" as opposed to "Made Anywhere Else". And that is China's goal - to overtake the USA as a world power. And we're just stupidly handing them the money to do that every single day. So, I won't touch or ever look at the Pandas, no matter how cute and cuddly they are! They're Wolves in Panda clothing.
US MINT is a ripoff on selling there new 2019 S enhanced proof silver eagle, nobody really had a chance to buy at least one coin.
As for your point B, it isn't a matter of sacrificing their principals for low prices, it's a matter of economics. There are dollar stores popping up everywhere because there's a demand for it among the many people who find money is tight for various reasons. And trying to find a country who has the manufacturing capabilities and a stable government is hard. And you can't blame China for everything. Think of how many American companies have moved plants over there because of the cheap labor. As someone once said, "Follow the money."
Their listings are shut down; I didn't get to see what was being offered. So sad... BUT, very happy they are gone!
I reported them as well and was told they were all removed. I don't mean to "pirate" ToughCOINS post but I had a post I just updated with the bad "dollars" from this guys lots: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/counterfeit-large-eagle-draped-bust-dollars.349931/#post-3918255
Every coin I look at on Ebay makes me think twice. I started a list of what I've noted as "good" sellers. But when cruizing Ebay with sooo many sellers, it's hard to keep track.
I try very hard not to buy any of their products, period. Unfortunately, they seem to own some markets, lock, stock and barrel.
Seller has a negative from not shipping this one shown previously sold; maybe he had 2nd thoughts on selling another counterfeit? Definitely a seller to watch... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1910-S-20-...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
