It aired here in Kentucky also. Maybe they mean it aired on a local station that this was recorded from.
Since I found this commercial I've been looking for other old coin related commercials here is 2 more that I vaguley remember.
Maybe this is the thread to ask -- when I was at the Smithsonian display 5 or 10 years ago, there was a video loop showing on a screen outside the exhibit. It included a short sequence of an actress, dressed as Lady Liberty, stepping up onto a rock and transforming into the St. Gaudens obverse. Has anyone come across this online? I really wanted to see it again, but it didn't come up again while I was watching.
NY'er here. Embarrassingly spent too much screen time in front of a television. I'm 60 y/o so there's plenty of sample size. I've never once in my life seen a US Mint commercial.
I don't recall seeing it. If I did, I'm pretty sure I'd remember it cause I collected the Golden Presidential Dollars.
That might be a tough one if it was just at the museum. I did a search on youtube and google and came up with nothing.
Oh man... I remember that commercial. Completely forgot about it. Thanks for that small trip down memory lane.
