It looks like the edge of a one dollar coin punched into the front of the coin you can't see it on the back of the coin but Thats the whole point of the question theres milling on the edge and its rounded slightly like one a different coin its right into the coin like it's some sort of striking error it doesn't look like any 50 cent coin I've e The 1966 round 50 cent coin had a milled edge and in 2006 they released a round 50 cent coin i just thought it could possibly be an error because I have never seen it on another one
