It looks like something else was stamped on this coin to me. Particularly check above his head, over the bridge of his nose, his ear and underneath it, his eyebrow looks to extend almost to his hair, behind his neck near the rim, the W if WE, and on the reverse between the F and A, beneath the last A of AMERICA, and to the bottom right of the 2nd closest leaf to the torches right. Is this all some sort of pmd?
