What do y'all think of my new $6700 "Business Strike" (cough cough) Washington?

I wonder if a 1964 SMS Quarter in SP68 would be worth more or less than an MS68?

    Didn’t Laura just retire?

Isn't the writing style distinctive and obvious? I've failed if it isn't. ;)

She purportedly "semi-retired" years ago. I think she is going to carry on a lighter load, but she will keep going. Unfortunately she has some undisclosed health issues.

Much, much more. The 64 SMS coins are largely five figure items now a days. A MS68 is worth maybe a few grand at most in NGC plastic. (Even if PCGS plastic, I'm still not convinced it would break the five figure mark at auction).

.... a 1964 SP 67 sold for over $87k on GC this year, so I’d figure a 68 would be a 6 figure coin. Easily 10x-20x+ of an MS 68.

Why do good posts go to crap so often like this? Gets pretty tiresome weeding through the garbage to glean the actual post conversation.

I think he meant would there be a value difference between a 1964 SMS quarter marked MS68 and a 1964 SMS quarter marked SP68, both slabs identifying the coin as being SMS. Purely a hypothetical musing.

I distinctly remember you were asked the exact same question. Are you going to give us YOUR CU handle now? Lmao

Glad to know that NGC corrected the mistake on the cert look up. I think more should be done about these types of mechanical errors. I would hope NGC contacts the seller and asks them to send it back so that it can be corrected.

I don't have a CU handle nor do I work for PCGS for the 100th time. If I ever started posting there it would be under the same handle, I don't hide behind alts like some do so they can go elsewhere and say things that have already been corrected somewhere else.

There's a reason why so many of us have stopped posting in so many threads. I'd rather not have to block 6 different people in order to engage in actual discussions but it looks like that may be the only option

If you put me on your blocked list will it prevent you from commenting on posts I am following?

Nope, but if you want to incessantly troll me such as a few others have been doing for months you can eventually end up there if you want. Makes no difference to me.

That's not me, but since you seem confused. Basebal21 is not the same as baseball. See one has numbers and only one L, the other has no numbers.

Your name however is an exact match to a dealer in Ohio

If as you say you are not that shop, I feel bad for that owner with how your name is representing them

Apparently literacy isn't your strong suit either. Did you read my signature line? And for the record I don't believe you regarding CU. There was a poster with a similar moniker name, same MO, similar writing style, etc., that loved to suck up to TDN/Laura/Legend and was very pro PCGS/CAC. I think the profile had a picture of a cover of The Great Gatsby. I haven't read that since middle school, which could also reveal a lot given your immaturity and seemingly not fully developed prefrontal cortex.
