I'm a long time collector but my focus is usually on world coins. I was helping a family member go through a small inherited collection of coins. Mostly silver pulled out of circulation. There were 3 coins marked as double die on the 2x2 that they were in. Below is a picture of 1. The other 2 I wasn't able to get nice pictures. These are all cell phone photos taken thru the holder. Just looking for opinions. It looks like an RPM to me. All 3 have the same appearance.

Thanks in advance for any help.

D/D means D over D.. So then RPM would be the same thing.

Did you mean something else? o_O

Oh I read your thread again and it seems like you think D/D means Doubled Die.. But that's incorrect.

I honestly don't know what I mean. This is out of my comfort zone. I don't care about this on the stuff I collect. I guess I am just looking for confirmation that it is a D/D and not something else.
