eBay provides information on certain coins saved to their catalog in order to facilitate the listing process. It also displays the name "Jaime Hernandez" at top. So who is this person and why does their name show up in such large font?

Not sure if he is still there after the changes but he is/was the PCGS price guide editor or Coin Facts editor (maybe both) who wrote quite a few articles for them.

    No idea. It's funny though.

Thank you Doug for providing the screenshot. I forgot to do so in the thread starting post.

Just to expand a little, what is happening is eBay has some of the pre-made listing templates a seller can select when creating the listing. If they pick that then the CoinFacts write up gets posted in the eBay listing.

If you look at the picture for the 69-D posted above the wording matches the same from CoinFacts.

Jamie is one of the names you'll see along with Bowers, Sherman, Guth, Hall etc.

Exactly. Those write-ups and those names are just part of an eBay "ready to use" template eBay provides if you choose to use it.

    Exactly as bb21 described it.

He is one of PCGS's supposed expert in modern coins.
