Hello, I am new to all the web sites but have been collecting all, funny looking or just different coins for years. I have come across a 2001 P Rhode Island quarter that has the rim going inward at one point on the left and several intentions on both sides. Just wanted to post pics and see if anyone can give me some insight as to what is going on??
Would appreciate all input on this. I thought it was different because of the rim intention??

    Welcome to CT.
You have a damaged coin. Nothing more.

Damaged coin. You can get rid of it. Coin counting machines would probably reject it, so spending it at Walmart or at a restaurant would probably be a good plan. :)

Thanks, and how nice you are-NOT-I'm new and just seeking some info on coins. The rim is indented but still following the as a rim. I didn't realize I don't have any common sense. Thanks for the insight. Guess what-when it has to do with coins-I have very little knowledge-I thought this was what this forum was all about. My bad-sorry
