Never in a million years would i ever considered Palladium to be the New Gold however dont look now but as of this thread Gold is trading @ $ 1,244.95 and Palladium is @ $1,146.90, Thats less the $100 it was not to long ago that Palladium took over the second spot from Platinum, and know one thought that would ever happen, it looks like The rolls are reversed.
An update as of this post Palladium has now pulled with in $33.68 of Gold per OZ, seems like more of not if but when !
There is a fraction of Palladium compared to gold. The only reason gold is not Priced at 500 dollars an ounce is due to GLD etf, lots of demand from asia Etc.

It passed it yesterday, but is back below now. If you look at historic charts, there was a day in 2001 I believe that when gold was around $250, palladium was over a grand! 4 times the price!
I read where about 50% of the palladium goes to catalytic converters for gasoline powered automobiles, so when electric cars take over it might take a hit.
