I thought I gave up on this thread, but now there's a new player. Dime size pennies did not come out of our mint that way. Have a nice day.
You should start a new thread, with clear, focused pictures of the front and back of 1 or 2 of the coins. If the pic is tiny or blurry, it isn't useful. Also. While this isn't an English grammar class, you need to clean up your post so people can understand it. Nobody cares about a couple of typos, but your post is a challenge to read and understand. When you ask for help, don't make it hard for people to figure out what you're saying. Remember, punctuation is your friend.
I couldn't even read his post. Many think that their grammar and punctuation (or lack of) is fine and people can live with it. But I just had to ignore it and move on. I figured, if they don't put effort into helping us understand what they want to say, why put any effort in responding to help them in various ways.
This guy is probably doing talk-to-text, so no punctuation. It is annoying to read with anyone who does that. He won't provide proof because it can't exist. For both points, this guy is very immature and probably has a plastic wrist band with a date of admission.
You can do talk to text with punctuation. State things like "question mark" to get ?, etc. Go to your notes and practice it. It is quite easy and I use it all the time.
It's a damaged coin, nothing else. I, as others, can state with certainty that your Cent did NOT leave the US Mint like this.
Thousands? Let's not and say we did on this one folks. It will do none of us any good to proceed with such a claim.
