I bought this a while ago, more out of curiosity about the in-hand look then anything else. It was so ugly I just had to have it.

What do you think it grades at?

(Oh, and I may have posted this before)

    MS 64 FBL

...total guess on the fbl since I can't tell :p
...and this one might "pop" at the right angle or be just as ugly as you say...if that photo was used, this is a coin that may start an ebay bidding war based on how the coin can potentially look :D

65 FBL. I see a lustrous dark coin.

I'll bite. I'm guessing that is remarkably clean and would have graded a 67 had it not been for the really bad eye appeal. So I am guessing MS-66.

MS 66 not FBL. I believe that must have been from a double mint set.

I actually kind of like the look. MS65 based on a dart...

    Ok, kids...

The pictures I posted were very similar to the pics in the auction when I bought it. The coin is banging with luster in hand, and the toning isn't a full-on brown in hand, as there is some color peeking through.

Anyway, the reveal, along with additional photos using different lighting methods to give you an idea of the range of the coin.

The coin is from a Mint Set. The toning is a dead giveaway.

I won’t Ed Wood guess, but I was thinking 66.
