$1001.00 Those "from the Collection of"'s can bring stupid money EDIT - I put in $999.99, but then I didn't want to get Bob Barkered...
@jwitten , you were the closest. With BP, I bought it for $1080. When it went to live auction, it was at $480 + BP and it quickly escalated. I know it's quite a premium over a regular MS64, but I love the color combo, the bag toning and the even color across the obverse.
Whoo hoo! Sorry @Beefer518 OK, this is an interesting one. I literally just bought it, so no cheating by looking at sales records. I have ZERO sales history to go off of. All I knew was the weight/gold content. 1976 Bi-Centenary of Cook's 3rd voyage gold medal. 9k gold, 30.7 grams. designed by James Berry & issued by Eastern & Central Savings Bank. Current melt value is about $540 I believe. What did I pay, shipped from Australia?

You know, I didn't even think about that. It was on ebay, and I think it was listed in US dollars, so I'm not really sure how that came in to play.
Saved you a good amount at that melt value. Every 100 Australian is only 75-80 USD depending on when you got it. If you see it on eBay USA it’ll automatically show you the price in your local currency
