This is what is known as a short set. Just 4 coins, 5 with the proof.

Yes, the E2 farthings are not as exciting as those for Victoria, i.e. no major varieties

As an American, this is more difficult to do than for a Brit, but I'm now working on completing the decimal half pennies in both circulation quality and proof. They are reasonably priced when found, but finding them in the U.S. can take a bit of looking.

    True.
My experience of American coin fairs (and flea markets) is that coins from USA, Canada and Mexico are easiest to find. :)

Irish and GB coins do take a bit longer to find. :arghh:

But, as they say over here (in Ireland), "if it was easy, everybody would be doing it"

I am currently working on a British Large Penny Collection - to get all the years, at least. I do have quite a few British Farthings, some 1/2 Farthings and a couple 1/3 Farthings. - I really just center around the Vicky's though.... not much of the newer ones.

I happen to find them all at my local coin store... Lots of people in the US have collected European Coins through the years, and they come into the store in Bags! (We pay them $5 a pound for them, and sell them for $10 a pound.)

BUT... I get to go through all of them first! :)
