it may here a bit tomorrow. I have Been deer hunting all day or should I say sitting in a tree freezing butt off! Ate my packed lunch by 9 . Ha Ha Then froze and starved.
To answer your question since there's a lull in the thread . . . or . . . back to 'Chatting' and 'Meandering Thiughts' [sic] . . . That dairy farm I ran was in Tennessee. The dairy situation is same nationwide. As far as 'Weed' pushing out dairy here in Oregon - totally different cultivation, intensive, often greenhouse-like. Though we did just recently receive a full-price sight-unseen offer from a big marijuana grower for our 12 acres in coastal Oregon. Would have LOVED to accept and get out of this rain, even though it was a 5 year with balloon . . . but we're zoned R2 - no commercial - so deal fell through. Oh well.
I predict a MAJOR breakout for Silver. I really believe, through some exhaustive research and number crunching, that Silver will stay steadily about $16 an ounce for at least the next couple days !! now go back to watching weekend NFL Football !!
Radio? President Roosevelt? Wait, I’ll get my shawl and sit on the rocker, and the dog can lie at my feet and enjoy the warmth from the vacuum tubes. Is the Hit Parade finished yet? Go bring in another log for the fire.
Yes, I was alluding to FDR. Too bad I don't smoke anymore or I would have a pipe going. The fireplace is on though.
Actually, I think I’ll continue to let my Windows laptop continue to rip DVD’s to my iTunes server, while perusing a backcountry coin auction list for this coming Friday that came in yesterday’s mail, while having the Eagles game on the flatscreen. How’s THAT for generational change? My building is 100% smoke-free, and I gave my boss my full humidor when I had my stroke. Had four real Cubans in there, too. There are some suweeet pieces in that auction list.
So I should turn my computer off, open a bottle of wine, put another log on the fire, and go chat with my wife? But she is watching a movie!
Actually, if I were to do that I think she would say it was a bit excessive as we opened nine bottles last night. We did have a dinner party though so I thought it reasonable.
Why would you hope that? It would be of a very unpredictable quality if I let the guests bring their own. They were all made right here in my house.
