Small Foreign Gold any Value other than Melt?

    Picked up this small gold piece in Bahrain back in 89....

    To someone who doesn't care about coinage from Bahrain, it's worth melt, IF THAT MUCH. To get anything above melt, you have to find ANOTHER person, other than yourself, to whom Bahrain coinage means something.

    It is or purports to be Turkish- they are made still as trade pieces so won't have much if any premium.

    There are many, many fakes.

    most likely fake, and not much gold

    But, hey, what do I know, I wear glasses.

    I doubt the counterfeiters are good enough to get with .01 grams on the weight.... I weighed it today on a Triton T2 and the weight was 1.79 grams
