Won the auction on this proof set this week and looking at the sellers pics I noticed what could be considered a booger? What does everyone think? 1958OBV-1.jpg

The Franklin half and I meant a "booger" nose, that's what I get for trying to type without my glasses.

  5. That's just untrimmed nose hair. :D

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Pull down two more, braid them, and put a bead on it.

I see what you mean, however the potential clash mark appears much too small to be recognized.
So, technically, yes it could be a very minor FS-402 type ODC, but highly unlikely this coin would actually receive any such designation on a slab.
If it does appear larger in-hand, be sure to post pictures.
    Good luck!

This needs to be sent into Franklin lovers. There are several older dates with some ofnthe same clashes going on.
It may be a new find for this date :)

I'll have in hand today, I'm already back at my office watching my video monitor for the mail carrier and will probably have pics up this afternoon when I get home.
