    Wow! I am not as interested in Empire / Provincial issues. However, I REALLY like this coin. Nice job capturing this one. I feel it is stunning to me, and would like to find one for my collection sometime. Nice!

    Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

    This ex Dattari AE drachm was an impulse purchase at Naville yesterday, and I'm not certain whether it was a good impulse! I will need to see the coin in hand. Coins with two-tone patinas and encrustations can sometimes photo quite badly, but look nice in hand. It was relatively cheap (for a Dattari drachm), so I rolled the dice. We'll see...
