Would this be a struck though from a foreign object?

1990-p quarter with what appear to be some sort of strike through on the reverse. I thought it was punched with something at first. There is no bulge on the obverse. I don't see any raised edges around the dents either. Looks like something got stuck in it, then fell out.

It was definitely struck with a foreign object, and the object did not go all the way THROUGH.

    Post mint damage.
    Not a struck through error.

I thought it was a BB also, but it is less than 1mm.

Send it to NGC or PCGS
They will take a look at it and determine what it is.
Make sure to get back to us with the results.

Me and my Red Ryder Daisy... no, the coin would have been silver.

There are a number of items that a coin can be struck through, and usually
you can determine what it was. (Grease, cloth, wire, etc.) This is most likely damage as Paddy has classified it. Spend it. Or, if you like it, it doesn't cost anything to keep it.

    Not a struck-thru - damage, as said.
