How do I send a picture via PM?

Is it possible to send a photo from my hard drive to another member by way of PM? If so, I would appreciate it if some kind soul would explain how to do it to me. And if it is possible, what is the maximum size that the picture can be? Thanks.

You have to request the member's email and email the pictures to them.

 

Or you can upload it to an image hosting site and embed the link in the PM, but you cannot use the image tool that is available for forum posts in a PM.

 

Or just click on the users name and a menu appears with Send Email as an option

 

1) Go to this popular image hosting website: http://imgur.com/
2) Under "Upload images", click "Computer"
3) Navigate to your image and select it.
4) Click "Start upload" and image will be uploaded
5) To embed the image, select and copy the text under "BBCode (message boards and forums)". Alternatively, to just provide the link to the image, select and copy the text under "Direct link (email & IM)".
6) Paste this text in your private message.
7) Send the message.

There is no size limit using this method.
