I am pround to say I have a specially signed book from Frank. Only two books have the privilege of being locked up with my coins - this is one of them.

We'll lay off you for now Frank, Lord knows you've had a devil of a time this past tax season, and we are sympathetic as to what you've experienced. No more abuse........until tomorrow. :)

    Sorry for the threadjack, but...

Like the opinions expressed in many threads on here about current coinage, those coins were common "spenders" and only worth face. Perhaps one of the collateral benefits of looking at older price guides is an insight to the shortsightedness we have about what is "common" or "valueless."

The history that these old references provides is priceless.

There is information that you can't get anywhere else, without a lot of work, if even then.
