    I enjoy collecting trachys!!! I specialize in the period of 1204 - 1282 AD! This comprises of Byzantine (or more accurately, rump state) coinage after the fourth crusader sack of Constantinople up until the death of Michael VIII, "unifier" of Byzantium. Of special interest to me are the coinages of Despot Michael II Komnenos-Ducas of Epirus, Despot Manuel Komnenos of Thessolonica, and John III Vatazes.
