Ah, OK, I found it. Well, it's certainly some kind of damage/staining after it left the Mint. The design is similar on both sides, but not exact, & they don't seem to line up. I would suggest it spent a long time between 2 pieces of, for example, similar puzzle pieces, or some such things. It's not related to a coin error, but interesting nonetheless.

Hi Brenda! No, I don't consider coins an investment, & likewise, there are much better ways to invest other than silver or gold bullion. Years ago I occasionally bought ASE's, but realized I was doing much better in the stock market, & haven't done it since & I'm much better off.
Hi steve, we still collecting. We even invested in some silver and gold. I have the anerican eagle one oz silver CV oun graded at a 70. Its a 2019 though. Guess we are all ova the place. I haven't been on coin talk in a while
I think the majority of us have wide ranging collections...probably a good thing. What matters is that you like what you have/acquire. The ASE @ 70 sounds great! Be careful with the gold - only buy graded or from sellers you trust - there's a lot of fake gold out there!
Hi steve, its going good, we have invested in some silver and gold. I also got the american eagle graded at 70 but its a 2019....1 oz of silver. Guess we are all over the place. Lol
