I hunt mostly in Queens, New York. There were thousands of troops here during the War.
I'm working a British site located near a cemetary. I donate most of my finds to the local historical homes here in New York.
If you are in New York City I be more then happy to take you with me and I will show you how it's done.I have a problem finding my way around this site (Coin Talk). So I can't always answer the messages I receive. And I don't want other members or you to think I am not replying.
I'm a professional relic hunter. I travel were ever I get a tip on a historical site either from the Revolutionary or Civil War. I have a large library on military & everyday items used during this period.
I want to thank you for replying to my site. I'm here for anyone who wants tips on metal detecting or needs to I.D. an items.

Thank you again for contacting me.
      Regards,
      Steve Kelly

I am a professional Relic Hunter. I use metal detectors to locate loss or dropped items. One of my grestest finds was Seven Roman Coins here in New York City. They are over two thousand years old. I have found everything you can think of. Butiions and other articfacts from the Revolution,Civil War, WW1 and WW11 Police buttons from the 1850's. The "Fighting 69th" and many other items.
Here in New York I work with Historical Societys and have donated many items to institutions that will diplay them for the public to see. I've been on the cover of "Treasre Magazine". Did ads for "Whites Metal Detector. The best machine for your money. The only hobby that pays for itself. I find the best because I use the best.
I also work out with weights, Also have been training for many years in "The Way Of The NINja".
I am retired from the NYCTA. I learned how to fix vintage pocket watches and also clocks & wristwatches. I buy them on bidding sites and fix them. Then sell them a flea markets.
