      If I could get one for $2.50 and I could see the date and it didn't have a hole or something, that's a deal I would go for. Send me your info if you want to do that.

      I actually got an 1869 a few weeks ago for about $11 in fairly good condition. The 1871 I've had for awhile. I have to look at it but I would bet it's not in great shape. I haven't gotten many of the pre-1860 pennies because people list half pennies on eBay as pennies, and they look the same and don't have the denomination printed on them. I have purchased several "pennies" that turned out to be half pennies. I decided it was too much trouble for now.
