If you was referring to post #155 I was talking about the off center cent coin and someone was posting at the same time as me and put these bust half dollar photos on here.

I see. There's nothing about the off-center cent to suggest a fake die either.

You are right and the coin looks to be a real mint error.

Don't quote me on it green, but it looks like a double strike to me, possibly even a triple strike. But what do I know ?

conecan 4.jpg I have some photos for everyone that I think may be better than my first ones for this very unusal coin. a thing that I missed in my first examination of the coin is the fact that the outline of the top of the building ends adruptly and comes straight up to the surface of the coin, also some parts of the memorial building's pillars is missing. coneca1.jpg coneca2.jpg coneca 3.jpg also notice how the letters are totally up against the undamaged rim. this coin has a high rim and is almost razor sharp on the inner top edge.the photo with the red arrons on Lincoln's head is pointing to what looks like part of a dropped letter. this is about all I can add right now. enjoy the photos. Odd date orientation on that one. Possibly the way the coin was 'shot' but that date alignment just ain't lookin' right to this novice.

The date on the coin is straight , I had the coin rotated to where the details I was trying to capture would be visible.

Shouldn't the pillars be sticking out like a regular cent.

I'm hoping you are right because a die clash is not worth very much.
