I voted no grade before I saw the second set of pictures. Now I am in the XF 45 camp

Looked abnormally glossy from the first set of pics, so I voted "Genuine".

Second set of pics tell a different story. I think it'll grade. I'm in XF camp... closer to 40 than 45. :)

Let us know how it grades. I noticed on eBay that PCGS XF45 pennies of that issue tend to have more wear than this one, and that those in the AU50-53 range are more like this penny. On this penny you can see a part of the ear and some details of the hair. Plus there are no major marks on the obverse. That alone ought to boost the grade.

I voted AU-50. Either way, it is a beautiful coin. Congrats!

I would love to see it come back as an AU. I'm going to submit it through a dealer...I will let you guys know what it comes back as. But, it might be a little bit as I'm super busy and won't be able to get to the coin shop for a little bit.

I'll try AU-53. It's been almost a year, did PCGS ever send it back?
